Let me re-iterate my absolute love for blushes here. So after talking about some of my absolute favourite powder blushes in another post, it is time to play fair games and to talk about the cream blushes.
Whenever a little extra glossiness is needed in your makeup look (because who doesn't like to look like a glazed doughnut), cream or liquid blushes are there for you, typically, Koreans prefer to add a subtle colour to their cheeks and focus more light (aka glitters) on the eyes, there is also a demand for highly pigmented blushes to create a super youthful and fresh look. So really you will find whatever you like among the many Korean blushes options.

Amuse created a sheer but buildable blush with the most beautiful natural glow finish. Soft Cream Cheek is, as perhaps you would guess, a cream blush that blends effortlessly into your makeup. There are 4 shades that target a nude colour, with 01 Sprinkles being my absolute favourite. It is the perfect ballerina pink colour with gold shimmers that resemble in a lot of ways the Nars Orgasm Blush. Super lightweight and long-lasting, it is formulated with vita poly peptide to hydrate the skin, which is always a plus. And let's not forget the super duper adorable star applicator that allows for an easy application. Great blush for a sun-kissed glow or even just a natural flush for the day.

I came across this blush when I was looking for a very pigmented cream blush to combine with my all-time favourite Barbie pink powder blush from The Face Shop (Pastel Cushion Blusher in Coral Pink) to minimise the powder pigmentation fading. And when I found the Fwee Blusher Mellow in 03 Hickey Happiness, I just fell in love with it. The pigmentation is just unbelievable, the formula is buildable and it lasts for an entire day without budging. It is a cream blush yet it has a powder-like finish that gives you a vibrant and clear punch of colour to your cheekbones. Love it love it love it.

There are actually not that many liquid blushes on the Korean market but the Apieu Juicy Pang Blusher is an absolute hit in Korea. Best-seller for years, it is a super affordable blusher that is extremely popular amongst the young crowd in Korea. The formula is very lightweight and blends extremely easily. Furthermore, it contains rose water that helps soften and hydrate the skin. The result will be a natural look with a dewy texture and most importantly, it will not remove your makeup base when you apply it, which is a big plus.

Funny enough, you can only get those little guys online in Korea for some reason, they do not sell them at Olive Young stores. But I recommend them to everyone who just has no time to think about an elaborate look for the day. The I'm Unny Melting Blushes are a multi-purpose cream blush that can be used as a blusher, lipstick, and eyeshadow. Easy, seamless application, dries to a velvety finish, it is so soft and melts like a dream into the cheek. Not too sheer, so a little goes a long way.
