Who is ready for a spring/early summer lip vibe? I am referring to a glossy, fresh, naturally stained by the natural light nude type of lip OR a juicy pop of flashy colour lip. And let's face it, Korean tints are (by very very VERY far) the best in the cosmetic industry. They excel, not only with the traditional matte, long-lasting tints but with lesser drying formulas as well, with medium-lasting properties and a delicious glossy finish.
But please be aware that the lip tint products that I will be mentioning in this post will not keep their glossy look for an entire day. No lip products have reached that level of outstandingness (except the Atomic Shake Lip Lacquer by Haus Lab but that is beside the point as it is not a Korean brand). However, the stain will definitively remain for a decent amount of time.
I was surprised to notice that, as Korean cosmetics received more worldwide attention and exports started happening, only one brand was standing out on the international scene for their ridiculously long-lasting tints. Yes, I am talking about Etude House however, I find them quite drying and frankly speaking, not the glossiest you can find. So this post is to let the world know that Etude House is NOT the only brand that knows how to do lip tints!
That being said, let's dive into the world of glossy, glassy, juicy Korean lip stains. Kaja! (meaning let's go in Korean)

I present to you one of Koreans favourite lip tint, the extremely popular Romand Juicy Lasting Tint. Its name is kind of giving away some important information about this lip tint; that it is long-lasting and glossy. Wonderful combinaison! For those of you that are looking for an everyday, naturally moist lip tint, I highly recommend this product. It has a light pigmentation with a buildable coverage that provides perfectly clear shades and a plumping glow. Super comfortable on the lips, it doesn't have that drying effect but really retain your lips natural moisture. The applicator is slender which is perfect for precision application around the cupid bow area. Furthermore, this product comes in wide range of different colours, 24+ to be exact, from bare transparent mood vibes to fresh fruity looks. So, there is plenty of options to find your skin tone matching lip tint. Additionally, cute fact about this product is that the colour range is inspired by seasonal fruits. Essential product to get for this "oh-so-kissable" glass-like lip.

More of a newbie of the Korean market, the Clio Crystal Glam Tint is making some waves. Clio really pushed the "glow lip" concept to the next level here whilst keeping the tint concept. So I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a lip product closer to a gloss in terms of shine but that possesses more colour-lasting staining properties. The high-glass look is very natural and the tint has good adherence to the lips but with a non-sticky texture. The application is flawless, truly glides on the lips smoothly. The shade range contains 8 colours, from a soft peach nude to a bright cherry red.

One staple of the Korean beauty industry is its quest of the most youthful looks you can possibly achieve, giving the illusion you look like an eternal teenager. And in order to achieve such a look, most of the time (95% of the time), the pigmentation is very light in order to reach this soft, sweet and tender makeup. However, the Lilybyred Glassy Layer Fixing Tint is one of those Korean products that defies a bit the traditional doll-face beauty with its highly pigmented captivating glossy finish. The finish look is very natural so don't be afraid of putting too much product on your lips. It is a buildable and transparent formula that contains hyaluronic acid, manuka honey and jojoba seed oil, which will keep your lips moisturized throughout the day. I recommend this product for those who enjoys the not-so-nude type of makeup.

I have been using this Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Tint since its release in 2022. What really drew me to this cute little tint was its perfect balance for cool tones skin. For some of you is not sot familiar with Koran lip products, they tend to have warm and orange undertones just because it really compliments the Korean skin. But for anyone that doesn't pair well with that colour scheme, it can be complicated to find the right lip product shade. So when Peripera launched their Mood line (which also contains a glowy balm and a matte stick), I was extremely happy with the colour undertones along with the packaging, the price, the moisture-based formula and the applicator. The whole thing really. It gives you a glowy, fresh look without caking or being too overpowering, which is ideal for an everyday look.

Another best-seller to finish the list of the glossy tints, I present to you the Amuse Dew Tint. I am a real fan of many Amuse products, from their liquid blush to their cushions, one thing is for sure, they know how to nail the dewy look and always deliver top-notch formulations with great ingredients. This Dew Tint is no exception. This tint won many awards since its release and I will tell you why. First, it is a long-lasting allergen-free emulsified tint composed of 35% water-infused water, which means, that the increased moisture combined lowers the content of thickeners, diminishing the potential discoloration or pigment separation due to light. What is the result? A clear natural-looking shiny lip that keeps the colour fresh. Secondly, it is an environmentally-friendly, sustainable vegan tint that pursues worthy consumption by obtaining EVE vegan certification from France known for its meticulous inspection over the entire manufacturing process from formulation, production, and packaging. Thirdly, it contains mango extract keeps your lips soft and moist, while apple extract & vitamin E acetate protect your lips from external stimulant. And lastly, the applicator is brilliantly designed with a hole that allows for a weightless application and also the precision for in case you want to complete a delicate makeup. The one downside (in my opinion), is the peachy fragrance that may not be an issue for some, but I do prefer my lip products to remain scent-free. It is just a preference and it doesn't impact the quality of the tint all.
